2 Stroke Gas Powered Blender

This is a 2-Stroke Gas Powered Blender I built for camping. I used a gas powered leaf blower engine, and an old Oster blender I had kickin around. The frame is built from 3/4" square steel tubing and is TIG welded together. The base plate is a 1/4" thick aluminum plate with all the appropriate bolt patterns for accept all of the components. The components include the engine, blender, idler pulley, and margarita mixer. The V-Belt pulley system was designed in Solidworks and built using manual lathes and milling machines. I used a Goodyear 1/2" x 32" V-Belt to connect everything together. I wanted to use a serpentine system, but I couldn't find a belt short enough so I opted for V-Belt. The blender is an old Oster blender. The best thing about it was it had a flat bottom and all of the parts in it were metal rather than plastic. All in all this was a really fun build and the blender works great! Time to go camping!
